1. 8 January 2017 - Attending the Sunday morning church service St Mary Magadalene on the Sandringham Estate, together with the Queen, who was making her first public appearance in a month after being struck down with a bad cold over Christmas, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Middleton family.

 2. 11 January 2017 - Visiting the early years parenting unit at the Anna Freud Center for Children and Families in north London, one of the charities of which the Duchess is Patron and that are involved in the Heads Together campaign. Later, with the Duke of Cambridge, visiting a Child Bereavement UK centre in Stratford, London, to celebrate its first anniversary.

3. 17 January 2017 - Taking part in a briefing at the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art) in London to outline the next chapter of the Heads Together initiative.

4. 24 January 2017 - Visiting  East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH), of which the Duchess is Royal Patron, at Quidenham, in Norfolk, while it continues its fundraising efforts with the Nook Appeal for a new purpose-built hospice.

5. 5 February 2017 - Taking part in a training day for those running the Virgin Money London Marathon for Heads Together at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London.

6. 6 February 2017 - Attending ‘The Big Assembly’ by Place2Be hosted at Mitchell Brook Primary School in north west London, as part of the Heads Together campaign, to mark Children's Mental Health Week 2017 (6 to 12 February).

7. 6 February 2017 - Attending a Guild of Health Writers conference at Chandos House in central London, focusing on mental health, which is being supported by the Heads Together campaign. The Guild of Health Writers is an independent membership organisation representing many of Britain’s leading health journalists and writers. The theme of the conference was "The Anxiety Epidemic".

8. 12 February 2017 - Attending the EE British Academy Film Awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall with the Duke of Cambridge, who is President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).
New gown: a bespoke version of the long tier violet jacquard dress by Alexander McQueen, from the brand's Resort 2016 collection; new bag: heart clasp black satin box clutch by Alexander McQueen; Edinburgh Wedding Gift diamond bracelet, on loan from the Queen; unidentified teardrop pendant earrings, featuring a large pinkish coloured gemstone (possibly quartz or morganite), surrounded by diamonds - the earrings where first worn to a 100 Women in Hedge Funds dinner in October 2011 and the only thing we know for sure about them is that they are not on loan from the Queen; Prada wavy-cut suede pumps in black (Daily Mail article here).


9. 13 February 2017 - Taking part in filming for a new BBC show with presenter Nick Knowles, called "Mind Over Marathon", that will air in April, at St Mary's University campus in Twickenham, south west London.
The Duchess repeated the exact same outfit worn on 5 February for the marathon training at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (Daily Mail article here).


 

 10. 14 February 2017 - Visiting RAF Wittering in Cambridgeshire to meet with local air cadets taking part in a half-term skills development camp. The Duchess has been Royal Patron and Honorary Air Commandant of the Air Cadet Organisation since December 2015.

 11. 22 February 2017 - Visiting two Action for Children projects supporting vulnerable families in Wales, on her first engagements with the charity since becoming its patron in December, taking over from the Queen. The Duchess first visited Torfaen to see MIST, a child and adolescent mental health project which works specifically with children living in care with foster families, then the Caerphilly Family Intervention Team (FIT) to learn about their work with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, problems with family relationships and those who have or who are likely to self-harm.

 12. 27 February 2017 - Attending a reception hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace to mark the launch of the UK-India Year of Culture 2017, a year-long programme of events and exhibitions which will take place in both countries to celebrate their deep cultural ties and the 70th anniversary of India’s Independence. Highlights of the evening included a special Indian themed menu of canapés prepared by royal chefs working alongside chefs from Veeraswamy, the UK's oldest Indian restaurant, and a display from the Royal Collection including items from previous royal visits to India, and Indian gifts and manuscripts from the Royal Library.

 13. 28 February 2017 - Visiting Ronald McDonald House Evelina London, officially marking the opening of their purpose-built 'home away from home’ accommodation for the families of children being treated at Evelina London Children's Hospital, part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

14. 9 March 2017 - Attending a Service of Dedication on Horse Guards Parade before the formal unveiling of the new Iraq Afghanistan Memorial on Victoria Embankment Gardens, London. The Memorial honours all UK Service personnel and civilians who took part in conflicts in the Gulf region, Iraq and Afghanistan between 1990 and 2015.

 15. 17 March 2017 - Visiting the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at Cavalry Barracks, Hounslow, west London, with the Duke of Cambridge, who is Colonel of the Irish Guards, to attend the St Patrick's Day Parade and present the shamrock to Officers and Warrant Officers and meet soldiers and their families.

 17. 17 March 2017 - Attending a reception at the British Embassy in Paris to meet young French leaders from the arts, sports, fashion, business and the voluntary sector and to mark the launch of "Les Voisins" ("The Neighbours"), a year-long celebration of UK-French links.

18. 17 March 2017 - Attending a black-tie dinner at the British Ambassador's residence, also known as the Hôtel de Charost.

 19. 18 March 2017 - Visiting Les Invalides, to learn about the important historic and current roles of the site, in particular its work supporting veterans undergoing rehabilitation programmes, and to meet survivors and first responders involved in the terrorist attacks at the Bataclan Theatre in Paris as well as in the lorry attack in Nice on Bastille Day 2016. Later, visit to the Musée de d'Orsay to tour the Impressionists Gallery and, following on from the "Les Voisins" reception, attendeding a "Les Voisins in Action" event at the Trocadéro to highlight the strong ties between the young people of France and the United Kingdom.

 21. 23 March 2017 - Attending the launch of the "Out of the Blue" film series, a series of educational films created by Best Beginnings, a charity partner of the Heads Together campaign, to raise awareness of maternal mental health challenges and start conversations about the wellbeing of parents and their children. The launch will be attended by health campaigners, academics and professionals and take place at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, just a few days before Mother's Day.

29. 19 April 2017 - Hosting runners from Team Heads Together at Kensington Palace as they get ready for the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon. Heads Together is the marathon's 2017 Charity of the Year.

 30. 20 April 2017 - Officially opening The Global Academy in Hayes, Middlesex, in support of Heads Together. The Global Academy is a state school founded and operated by Global, The Media & Entertainment Group, designed to prepare students for careers in the broadcast and digital media industry, offering academic and vocational training.

 32. 23 April 2017 - Attending the Virgin Money London Marathon in support of Heads Together, meeting a number of the Heads Together runners prior to the race and handing out medals to some of the charity runners as they cross the finish line.

A day of engagements in Luxembourg
11 May 2017


 34. 11 May 2017 - Attending the official commemoration of the 1867 Treaty of London at Luxembourg City Museum; the Treaty confirmed Luxembourg’s independence and neutrality in the aftermath of the Austro-Prussian War and the Luxembourg Crisis. On arrival, visit of the Grand Duke Jean Museum of Modern Art (MUDAM) to tour current exhibitions by British artists Sir Tony Cragg and Darren Almond and attend a reception with leading young Luxembourgers in the fields of culture, education, business and the charitable sector. Then, a stop at central Place Clairefontaine and a tour of a cycling-themed festival, which celebrates the shared UK and Luxembourg passion for the sport. Next, Catherine called on Their Royal Highnesses The Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg at the Grand Ducal Palace.
Then the Duchess continued to Dräi Eechelen Museum for the main commemoration event, attended by the Prime Minister and other personalities.

 35. 13 May 2017 - Hosting the 'Party at The Palace' with the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, a special tea party in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, to honour the children of those who have died serving in the Armed Forces. Attending the party were also a number of charities which help support families, and specifically children dealing with bereavement, including Child Bereavement UK, of which the Duke is royal patron.

 41. 16 June 2017 - Attending the 1851 Trust Land Rover BAR roadshow at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre in London. The 1851 Trust roadshows use the inspiration of Sir Ben Ainslie’s British America’s Cup challenge to inspire both primary and secondary school pupils into STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and maths), with practical applications of the challenges the team has faced in their preparations to compete in the 35th America’s Cup in Bermuda.

Later, joining young Polish entrepreneurs in the Warsaw Spire building on a visit to The Heart, an international hub and business incubator with impressive panoramic views of Poland's capital which is home to a range of exciting new business start-ups. The event marks the beginning of a 'Warsaw-London bridge' initiative that aims to help small Polish businesses access London’s unique opportunities for scaling up to become global players.

Visiting the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre, of which the Prince of Wales is Patron. During the seventeenth century there was a large English-speaking community based in Gdańsk, which made the city an important destination for travelling English players. The Shakespeare Theatre opened in 2014, and is home to the city’s annual Shakespeare Festival, attended by theatre-lovers from around the world. The visit to the theatre will include a small reception for Poles from the world of arts, culture and media. 
Visiting the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk’s shipyards, the birth-place of the Solidarity movement (Solidarność) in Poland. The visit will include a tour of the museum and meeting with founding members of Solidarity. On departure, the Duke and Duchess will walk through the iconic shipyard gates, a key symbol of the protests during the 1980s, before laying a wreath at the foot of the Solidarity Monument.

Visiting the Maritime Museum on the bank of the river Elbe to celebrate the joint UK-German year of science, which this year is focused on oceans. Then visiting the Elbphilharmonie, one of the biggest concert halls in the world and renowned for its advanced acoustics, opened in January 2017, to listen to a special performance by the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra. The audience will be filled with children from all corners of the city, with the aim of inspiring a new generation to develop a passion for music and perhaps play at the venue in years to come.
Then travelling by boat down the River Elbe to the final destination of the tour: Airbus. The couple will tour the complex and meet apprentices, both German and English. The Duke and Duchess will then visit the final assembly line of an A320 aircraft and view the cockpit of a near-complete plane.
